How to use eFax

RECEIVE FAXES VIA EMAIL

You should already be configured with a shared mailbox for your office/unit. In Outlook, scroll

down the left pane where your various email folders are. The shared mailbox will show up

below your own folders, with a name that begins with “Fax Machine.” All incoming faxes to

your office/unit will arrive in this inbox as PDF attachments.

SEND FAXES VIA EMAIL

Begin drafting a new email message, then choose the Options menu in the Outlook ribbon and

click the “From” button to enable that field. Click the “From” option that appears, then change

your from address to the appropriate Fax email (see list below) or choose “Other Email

Address” and enter it manually.

Send an email to +15558675309@fax.plus, but replacing this sample number with the intended

fax number. Do include the “+1” country code for US numbers. The body of the email message

will become the cover page (optional), and any attachments will become the body of the fax.
